Cooperation agreement with Green Dot Norway
Green Dot Norway (GPN) is a non-profit company owned by the business sector, which ensures the financing of collection and recycling of used packaging. GPN has developed a method to calculate members' packaging use. Basis for calculation is the import statistics that we receive from Customs and Excise (TAD) by Statistics Norway (SSB).
EVM provides the following services to its members:
• Calculate the amount of packaging that comes with the import of EEE
• Report the quantities of packaging GPN
• GPN will be the basis of this bill you directly as a member

With this in place, the EVM report your packaging operation. How do you take environmental responsibility for its packaging without being encumbered by extra work.
Environmental responsibility also for other packaging
Members with predominantly EEE can be through a levy on the estimated quantities of container, ensure that environmental responsibilities are taken care of also in all other packaging. Members where EEE is a smaller share of packaged goods, must report the packaging around the other goods.

Use of "Green Dot" on packaging
Although it is voluntary to join the GPN, an increasing number of producers and purchasers membership of GPN as a supplier condition. This applies to both the private and public sectors. Moreover, membership may use the protected trademark "Green Dot" on packaging. "Green Dot" is a receipt for the payment of compensation for the recycling of packaging.
