WEEE-Scheme
Companies with import and/or production of EE-products in Norway are through the Waste Regulations of 2004-06-01 nr 930: Chapter 1 (EE-regulation in Norway) obliged to ensure collection and recycling of WEEE according to national regulations.
Through a nationwide take-back solution, Eurovironment AS, guarantees on behalf of the affiliated members the fullfillment of the obligation in a way that secures environmental handling, fragmentation and recycling of all categories WEEE, as well as taking care of governmental reporting.
Eurovironment AS is approved by the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority (Klif) as a collective financed WEEE-Scheme for all categories WEEE, together with certifications according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
